What are our workshops about?
Our workshops are whole day events and we focus on the benefits of yoga for action sports. We also include a massage workshop for the specific muscle groups used in the sport. We focus on the sports that our holiday cover, such as skiing & snowboarding, surfing, mountain biking, climbing and hiking. But due to popular request we will also cover running and racquet sports such as tennis, squash and badminton, plus others as the requests come in. Yoga has become a household name, becoming a part of everyday rhetoric that all ages use. It has become an acceptable form of relaxation and/or exercise, depending on how the individual wants to interpret it.
Our workshops are designed for those who want to get the most out of their desired sporting activity. Yoga helps to lengthen overused muscles and strengthen weaker ones. This in turn helps prevent injury and optimise performance and endurance, which in turn enhances the fun element because you can go harder for longer and feel great at the end of the day instead of tired and achy. So come and try!

Lunch
We provide lunch and if you would like this then we need to take pre-bookings. Lunch is a warming soup in winter, bread rolls or equivalent if wheat free and a salad. £5 per head, Bristol or London. This gives you an idea of the sort of food you would eat on our retreats/holidays…delicious!
What should I bring?
Wear comfortable loose clothing that you feel relaxed in for the yoga. Bring a blanket for the beginning and end of the class or a warm jumper. If you are doing the massage workshop please bring an old towel and if you feel uncomfortable taking off trousers then please wear small loose shorts, I’m afraid bras will come off for upper body massage otherwise it’s too complicated, but you will be covered respectfully at all times with the towels you bring, so make them big! Lunch is not provided so please bring a light lunch with you unless you have booked onto the lunch that we provide.
