Christmas Party the AY way!

It’s that festive time of year! This year, we have decided to get involved and hold our very own Christmas Party! It is going to be held in London at the London Fields Yoga Studio…so wrap up and venture out on this cold and beautiful Sunday afternoon and come and say Happy Christmas the Yogi way!

Your generous contribution towards the Christmas party festive class will also feed and offer a Christmas present to a child in London this Christmas…and as thanks from AY, we have provided delicious foods, an array of goodies to take home and a fantastic raffle with fabulous prizes. Read on…

What’s the deal?

Sunday 15th December 1pm – 5pm

If you have been on a yoga retreat or adventure with us before or if you have never been and would like to see what we are about and meet the team..then come and join us! The profits ALL go to the Kids Company charity so it really is for a fantastic cause this Christmas. Read below for the schedule and choose between classes or come for both.

1pm: arrival
1.15pm-2.30pm: Dynamic festive stretch.
2.30pm-3pm: Festive tasty treats, Christmas Raffle, best leggings competition and Xmas goody bag.
3 pm: Arrive for next class.
3.15 pm-4.30 pm: Heartwarming yoga flow.
4.30 pm-5 pm: Festive tasty treats, Christmas Raffle, best leggings competition and Xmas goody bag.

Join us for both classes at the Christmas party from 1 pm-5 pm or for just 1 from 1 pm-3 pm or 3 pm-5 pm.

The yoga classes are going to be fun and festive to warm you up and stretch out your hangover (from Saturday night, don’t worry we know…another Christmas party!)

And if you are interested in meeting the team, then this is the event to come to because we will have almost all the team present so you can get to know them and ask any questions about yoga, food or therapies that you like!

Christmas Party Tasting Menu

After your festive stretch, enjoy a wholesome and filling array of delicious treats from our fabulous chef Tatu Bearcroft, who will wow you with her Christmas tasting menu!

Christmas party spiced rooibos chai a la Africa style.
A trio of taste bud tantalising canapes, roasted beetroot and mint on roasted parsnip rounds, broad bean and parmesan pate on pumpernickel, spiced herbed hummus on toasted rye bread.
Your very own heart warming dish of quinoa pilaff, rich chick pea curry and sautéed kale with delicious coconut raita.
Festive themed energy balls as a sweet treat to top it all off, enjoyed with your chai.

The Charity

From your kind contribution of £18 for this Christmas party, £10 goes towards the kids who aren’t usually treated at Xmas. Thank You.

This is a great charity doing great things for the children of London and this Christmas they need your help the most. At the kid’s company, they have their very own Christmas for those children who usually wouldn’t have one of their own. Over the Christmas period, they will have 4000 kids come through their doors for a present they usually wouldn’t get, so they need all the help they can get. So let’s help them out.

Their services reach 36,000 and intensively support 18,000 children across London, including the most deprived and at risk whose parents are unable to care for them due to their own practical and emotional challenges. For many, the roles of adult and child are reversed and, despite profound love, both struggle to survive.

Daily, they provide a safe and caring, family environment where support is tailored to the needs of each individual. Their services and support empower children who have experienced enormous challenges to lead positive and fulfilling lives. Despite great difficulties, the children they work with are hugely courageous and embrace the support they offer.

Kids Company was awarded the Liberty and JUSTICE Human Rights Award in 2007. In 2010 they were selected as a ‘Child Poverty Champion’ by the End Child Poverty project for their success in enabling children to achieve their full potential.
