How do I pay?

What about Insurance?
You will need to take out your own insurance. Try Insure and Go with competitive prices, or World Ski, which is also a very good company for all round skiing advice.
How do I get there?
Please take Eurostar to reduce carbon emissions. If you fly and we’ll arrange offset of CO2 produced through Climate Care.
Drive
Ferry to Calais (Return in a car for 2 people is approx £80) and then it is about 8 hours driving to the mountains.
Fly
Direct EasyJet flights from London/Bristol to Geneva (approx. £40-70 return). Please arrive in Geneva by Sunday lunch time. Transfers to Chamonix are included.
Train
For a ‘green’ conscience get the train! We’d recommend the new high speed St Pancreas- France which will take you to Geneva in under 6 hours. To book, ring Rail Europe on 08705 848848. They are extremely helpful and will be able to guide you through the journey step by step. Another great site is Man in Seat 61 which details how to travel to Europe and beyond by rail.
What is the chalet like?
Chalet 715 is gorgeous! With outside hot tub and stunning MontBlanc view run by Freshtraxxx (click for a virtual tour of Chalet 715). And click here for more photos. There are also log fires, English TV, DVD & music collection, sound system, free wireless internet, in-house bar, Backgammon, amazing chef and a snow ready minibuses. Towels and linen are included.
How much is it for a Ski Pass?
A full 6 day ski pass to cover Chamonix, the surrounding valleys and the infamous Mount Blanc slopes is 196 Euros. If decide to fly, then you can always fly late on Sunday night and pay for an extra day skiing, which will cost you about 30 pounds. But do not worry about organising the passes we will have these ready for you when you arrive.
Does it matter if I don’t have my own ski boots, ski or board?
We use a company that will be able to sort you out with everything you need, from top of the range equipment. All you need is to know your shoe size, weight and height.
What do I do if I/ my partner doesn’t ski?
Chamonix is a fantastic resort with much to offer the non skier. There is an indoor pool, with Jacuzzi and Saunas; iceskating; tobogganing; walking; great shops, bars and restaurants. You can also meet up the mountains for lunch, with fabulous views to boot! Check out the above sites for more ideas.
I’m only a beginner at yoga/ skiing. Does this matter?
Chamonix, and the surrounding valleys, is world renowned for its high quality slopes - both on and off piste. There is ample skiing for all abilities. Michelle will be on hand to guide you through all the options. Lessons and private guiding can be easily arranged.
Do I have to share a room if I come on my own?
If you come on your own, you will need to be prepared to share a room with someone of the same gender, unless you want to pay a single persons supplement. However you will not have to share with someone of the opposite sex, unless of course you want to!!!
