Lovely to be in a characterful old house, in such peaceful, green countryside. Our teacher Wenche was perfect, and the food was 10 out of 10. Loved the silent walks, the cheerful atmosphere and the company. I left feeling calmer and am sure my breathing is deeper than when I arrived. Thank you so much. Sarah.
This entire retreat was just lovely. The venue, yoga, food and people were amazing. Michelle is delightful. So glad I came. Thank you for a fabulous weekend. Kate M

10/10 for the location, La Rosiere is beautiful and the chalet was wonderful. The views were out of this world! Very close to the slopes, lovely and peaceful, and gorgeous food. I had an awesome week packed full of yoga, off piste skiing and lots of sleep. Michelle and Tammy were great hosts and I met some super people that I’d call friends. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Paul

Skiing and yoga is the perfect combination! After a week on the slopes my muscles did not ache because of the yoga. I felt tired but chilled out and happy. LB Gray
As a combination skiing and yoga is brilliant. Stretching and restoring muscles at the beginnng and end of the day means no tired legs for skiing. Thanks. Simon
Cornwall New Year Yoga Retreat 2012
Gorgeous! Beautiful location close to the sea, log fires, soft beds, lovely earthy light, and the homeliest kitchen I’ve ever been in. The yoga (and space) was wonderful and Sally dealt brilliantly with a class of very mixed abilities. I had an incredible massage and reiki treatment. The trip wouldn’t have been the same without it. The retreat was everything I wanted and more. I needed time for peace and quiet and while the others were more involved in activities I was able to have some time to myself. Rainie

The Adventure Yogi retreat in Somerset was exactly what I was looking for and more. It was well organised with a lovely group of guests. It involved the perfect amount of yoga that challenged us while also providing a perfect weekend to relax. The food was amazing and would warrant a weekend away alone! Would highly recommend it to anyone interested in yoga at any level. Sue
As a beginner Yoga has been brilliant and I feel I have learnt so much about all aspects; breathing as well as poses. Lovely house, big and spacious yet very cosy and welcoming. Great location, quiet and fab views for miles. The food was very well presented, colourful, refreshing and extremely healthy. Has inspired me to improve what I cook at home! Massage was fab. It added to the whole relaxing weekend where you could just chill. First retreat which has been a great experience, can’t wait for the next one. Thanks for a fantastic weekend. Jo

Yoga and well-being retreat October Somerset 2012
Dear Claire, Michelle and all the fabulous team from the Somerset Wellbeing retreat,
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone on the retreat. It exceeded all my expectations in every way. The food was incredible and the accommodation was fantastic. I took a bag full of food with me as I thought that the food on a yoga weekend would be sparse and boring, but I didn’t touch my supplies once! I was full to the brim and will be recreating the delicious food that Anna made for us! I really felt like I was welcome and at home from the moment I arrived. I almost drove past the house as I thought there was no way we’d be staying in such a nice place!
The weekend has changed my practice so much, and has also changed my life. Wenche made me fall in love (even more) with yoga, inspired me and helped me discover my calling. It has been a weekend that I will never forget. You will definitely see me again one day! Love and wishes to all of you, India xx
I really enjoyed the weekend, my boss just told me I look bright and glowing! Loved the early morning walks and the Stone Circle and wading through the corn fields. Wenche was a really great teacher and it felt so good to practice yoga again. The food was delicious and our room was very cosy! Thanks so much! Poppy x

Wellbeing and yoga retreat Easter 2012 Gloucestershire
Mark and I had a great time – the company was lovely, the yoga teaching was very, very high quality; it felt like an incredible privilege to stay in the house, surrounded by so much history (I shall be dining out on the story of how we found the letters by Queen Victoria , Charles Dickens & Florence Nightingale for months). Oh, and the food was AMAZING! Hopefully we will do another trip with you, soon. Meanwhile, very best wishes & a big thank you. Louisa
The Gloucester well-being retreat was exactly as it states. I came away feeling rejuvenated and energised. The yoga was restorative, the food amazing and very nourishing. The surrounding area peaceful and tranquil. To have the opportunity to stay in a centuries old family house is a very special experience. Thanks Michelle and her team for providing this to help us get away from our every day and stressful lives in this weekend. Yoginee Patel

When I first went back to work people remarked how healthy I looked – which was definitely a first! I have been thoroughly detoxed and have not gone back to crisps and coke at all! WellbeingYogi Somerset 2: September 2010
This retreat focuses on clarity of the mind, re-energises the body and rejuvenates the soul. The healthy wholesome food compliments the intensive yoga and like-minded participants (and organisers!) make for great company.
A wonderful weekend with a very informal atmosphere like I was hanging out at a friends house doing lovely things. A memorable time.
Loved being in the countryside. Loved the big walk and silent walk pre morning yoga…a great group of people and really liked it being a small intimate group. I’m leaving here feeling exactly how I wanted to feel!
Not having any fun dealing with the jet-lag and work-come-down after a fabulous week! You guys really were fantastic. I even enjoyed the food! Which as a dyed in the wool carnivore from a country that still believes the colour green is the devil’s work so avoids all vegetables that don’t come deep fried, that is indeed a compliment of the highest order.
I had a truly great time with you and have been eulogising about the experience to everyone I have met over the last week. I think the best way I can describe things is that I felt I received special attention from all four of you; boarding, eating, stretching and pummeling, it all felt very personal which I think is a great testament to yourselves and your many skills. Also, a great pleasure to now know you all.
Thanks very much for a very enjoyable week. I really enjoyed myself, and all my prior concerns about doing yoga and eating healthy food, were quite unfounded. As I may have mentioned, my girlfriend was quite gutted when she learnt what it involved (although there was nothing she could do), and would certainly be keen to join on a future occasion. I don’t know… what is it with women and healthy living?! Or perhaps it’s a case of ‘men and unhealthy living’? Probably…
Thank you for making the efforts to accommodate my dietary requirements, it made a real difference to my holiday. I loved the fact that all the food was organic and there was such a great choice!
WellBeingYogi weekend Sept 09
Truly the most enriching weekend I’ve had in ages. I met the most wonderful and interesting people, ate exquisite food that nourished my body in order for it to enjoy fully the best massage and yoga classes I have ever learnt from. I honestly had a wicked time and my spirit is still feeling so enriched.
Usually I need another holiday to recover from a full-on week of skiing and partying. But the combination of yoga, great company and amazing food really made me feel like I’d been away for a month.
I was feeling apprehensive about coming on a skiing holiday on my own but Claire, Jo and Michelle were fantastic hosts and we all felt really looked after. The week was non-stop laughter. The morning yoga really set me up for the slopes, and I loved the gentle warm down class. Why hasn’t anyone thought of running healthy skiing holidays before?
There’s not a sore muscle in my body. The best massage I’ve ever had.
I’ve never thought of trying yoga but am a keen skier and really noticed the effects on and off the slopes!
