Acupuncture

Although sometimes described merely as a means of pain relief, traditional acupuncture is actually used to treat people with a wide range of illnesses. Its focus is on improving the overall wellbeing of the patient. According to traditional Chinese philosophy, our health is dependent on the body’s motivating energy – known as qi – moving in a smooth and balanced way through a series of meridians (channels). The flow of qi can be disturbed by many factors, physical, mental and emotional and poor nutrition. By inserting needles into the channels of energy, the body’s own healing response is stimulated which helps to restore its natural balance. So why not try it to treat any injuries, aches and pains, or simply to relax a busy mind & to reenergise the body.

Reiki

Hands on healing to ease away any tension in the body and mind. Lie back, relax & and let the body tune into it’s own healing powers. Deeply relaxing, you are guaranteed to feel blissed out at the end of a session. And combined with massage the effects are even more deeply felt.

Physiotherapy

Why is Physiotherapy good for Sports Performance? Physiotherapy not only helps you recover after an injury but will increase your performance in sport dramatically. So many sports men and women focus on increasing strength rather than working on flexibility and a good foundation of core control. This results in tight muscles which compensate for a lack of control in the legs and back. These tight muscles cab then in turn become a source of injury due to overstrain, and fatigue rapidly during sport due to decreased blood flow. With a combination of education, exercises, and hands on treatments you will become better educated about your body and this turn will help you achieve your potential in sport.
