For those who work as hard as they play and want to experience a relaxing yoga retreat with some adventure too then this is the right yoga break for you. There’s a multitude of walks or hikes on offer, or for those who want even more activity, try kayaking, mountain biking, horse riding or climbing. We have bronze Buddha and gold Buddha rating accommodations in Wales, we have thought about budget, luxury and affordability.

For the adventurist and yogi in you, join us for our active yoga retreats. By active we mean for those people that would like to feel exhilarated after their yoga retreat, as well as relaxed. Enjoy yoga sessions twice a day, silent walks, healthy vegetarian food, free time to choose from a multitude of activities, massage and time to relax.
You can be as active or relaxed as you like. We include an invigorating guided hike in the price with qualified and experienced mountain guides to take you to some of the most picturesque spots. We will be out all day and provide a packed lunch. Of course you don’t have to join in, it’s up to you if you’d prefer to kick back and rest at the retreat.

The classes are suitable for all abilities, from beginners to intermediate and advanced levels. Everyone is welcome. We have a range of very experienced teachers who are the best of the best and are well practiced at adapting the class for everyone’s level. Whether it be Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Ashtanga, Sivananda, Yin or others, all classes cover pranayama, asanas and meditation to help increase oxygen flow, balance, clarity and to promote a peaceful mind. Morning sessions are a more dynamic practice and the evening sessions are gentle with lots of stretches, meditation and relaxation.
Enjoying healthy and flavoursome vegetarian food is an integral part of our ActiveYogi retreats. We bring our own AdventureYogi chefs with us who all have their own style to create mouth-watering dishes with the focus on nutrition. We offer a healthy breakfast of a range of delicious savoury foods, porridge and eggs. There are herbal, and caffeinated teas and coffee, so you can choose if you want to detox gently. There’s bread and cow’s milk in the morning, but soya and our own almond milk if you prefer. A healthy afternoon snack or packed lunch will keep you going in the day, and there’s well earned 3-course supper in the evening. Our food makes a big impression on our guests as they say they love it and it changes their way of cooking when they get home.
We are in a hot spot for activities! There’s walking, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, horse riding and climbing.
Our venues for our active yoga retreats in the UK are in Wales and they have been carefully picked to give you a special weekend with relaxation and adventure in mind. There are luxurious manor houses and old mills to choose from. All offer a special place to unwind, feel pampered and to enjoy some active relaxation.
8am- 10am: Morning yoga and meditation class
10am-11am: Brunch of healthy energy boosting breakfast foods, porridge
11am-12.30pm: Massages, free time at the venue, or go biking, climbing, canoeing etc. (Free guided hike with qualified mountain guides on the Saturday)
12.30pm-5pm: Saturday guided hike with qualified mountain guides. Enjoy a packed lunch. Sunday enjoy a choice of activities: biking, climbing, horse riding, walking
5pm: Return from hike on the Saturday, relax. Return home from afternoon activity
6:00 – 8:00pm: Evening yoga, meditation and yoga nidra class
8:15 pm: Delicious vegetarian feast
