How much is it?

All yoga weekends are run as a 3 night option: £395pp – £450pp

Price per person is based on two people sharing a room with shared bathrooms.  The Yoga retreat is extremely luxurious and all rooms are very well finished .  Egyptian cotton linen and towels are provided.  There are 4 doubles and 5 twin rooms.  This yoga retreat is very popular so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Please note that for single occupancy for rooms is 60%.

* 2 x 2 hour yoga classes a day (6 classes in total)

* Guided afternoon hike on Saturday afternoon with qualified guides

* Half an hour free holistic treatment of your choice

* Hearty brunch, a light savoury lunch and delicious vegetarian 3 course evening meal

* Help with organising afternoon activities for the Sunday afternoon (read below what activities are on offer)

If you would like to try more hiking, biking, cycling, canoeing then we can arrange this however it is not included in the price.

Daily Schedule

The retreat starts at 5pm on Friday and finishes at 11am on Monday.  It is a 3 night retreat.

8am – Silent meditation walk to the beach
8.30 – 10.30am – Morning yoga practice
10.30am – Brunch served
11.30am – 5.30pm - Time for hiking/biking/cycling/canoeing/chilling/ treatments
6pm – 8pm – Evening yoga practice
8.15pm – Dinner

How to get there

By Train:

The nearest train station is Abergavenny and then it is a 40 minute taxi ride that costs £40.  We recommend the below trains so that you all arrive at the same time so we can group you into taxi’s to keep the cost down.

London Paddington departs 12.45 arrives Abergavenny at 15.27 on the Friday

Abergavenny departs 12.31 arrives London Paddington at 15.08 on the Monday or 12.37pm on Sunday arriving London Paddington 16.27

Bristol departs 13.54 arrives Abergavenny 15.27 on the Thursday or Friday

If you are coming from the north or another direction please try to time your trains to arrive and depart at the same time as recommended above.

By Car

We will give you directions in the welcome letter once you book.  The retreat 40 minutes from Abergavenny, 40 minutes from Hereford and 20 minuts from Builth Wells.

Car share

To do our bit for the environment we encourage car share with guests.  Once you have booked onto the retreat we ask those of you who are driving to offer a seat for someone who may have otherwise travelled by train.  This alleviates our carbon footprint and makes it more fun for everyone!

What activities are on offer?

We are able to arrange any activity that you would like to partake in.  We ask for information on your activity choice after booking your retreat with us.  Have a look below to see what fun you could get up to.

Saturday

Included in the price we provide for you a half day hike.  We will leave the retreat at 1pmish and get back in time for yoga at 6pm and have a packed lunch provided too.  We use exceptional and qualified guides from the local area who create a bespoke walk for us to some of the most beautiful parts of the Brecons.

Sunday

Canoeing: Take the afternoon to meander down the river Wye and finishing up in Haye-on-Wye for a brouse in the bookshops or a cream tea.  Try out a canoe (wider and for 2 people, stay dry) or a kayak (for 1 person, get wet!) for £20.00 for 2-3 hours on the river.  We can organise this for you and will help get you to the canoe center.

Biking and cycling:

The bikes can be delivered to the retreat (minimum of 2) or go to haye on Wye and the bike company will recommend routes with maps for you to follow instructions and take it at your own pace.  It is £17.50 for a half day use of the bikes.

Hiking:

If you want to do more hiking on the Sunday, then this can be arranged.  You can go for another half day hike from 1.30pm – 5.30pm with a guide.  This is for a minimum of 4 peopleand costs £95.

Climbing

If you would like to try out an indoor multi activity day with rock climbing, absailing, zip wire, rope bridges and caving then for £25 you can! It is for 2 hours from 1.15pm – 4pm at an activity centre that is 15 minutes away by car and has a cafe for snacks if desired.

If you prefer to be outside in the sunshine then you could try out the outdoor zip wire course.  There are 14 zip wires through their private forest.  This is £25pp for the 2 hour period.

If you are an experienced climber then just join us for the yoga and then go and explore your favourite peaks!

Horse riding

Whether you are an experienced horse rider or you have never tried it before we have something for everyone.  A trek for beginners or intermediate levels is £30 or a hack for advanced is £38pp for half a day.  This starts at 1.15pm – 4pm.  Enjoy trotting or galloping  through private fields and bridal ways with stunning views of the beautiful  Welsh countryside.

* walking boots, walking clothes, waterproofs, back pack for lunch and snacks, water bottle, sun cream

* shawl and warm clothes for relaxation in yoga

* A good book
