Join us for our relaxing and revitalising New Year yoga retreat Cornwall. This new year we have relocated to the beautiful area of St Agnes. The area is known for its outstanding natural beauty and from the TV series Poldark, so imagine a dramatic coastline with crashing waves and stunning beaches.
After the excess of Christmas, our New Year yoga retreat Cornwall is the perfect way to unwind, rest and recuperate and start 2019. Gently cleanse and nourish body and mind this new year with 2 hours of energising yoga in the morning and after brunch, enjoy the many walks from the retreat, immerse yourself in the setting intentions workshop, journal, have a massage or soak in the hot tub. On New Year’s Eve we will have an extra special celebration. Explore the many gorgeous beaches nearby such as Porth Towan, St Agnes and Perranporth or treat yourself to a cream tea! Restore with 2 hours of restorative yoga in the evening followed by a two-course healthy vegetarian evening meal.
There will be only 10 guests this is a small, cosy and intimate retreat. All the rooms are shared Twins or Doubles. We are unable to offer single occupancy on this retreat, but you are welcome to share a Twin with another guest of the same sex, as we often pair guests up who have travelled on their own. All rooms are twin or double shared. There is a studio, a private space for two people in a couple or two friends who are hapy to share a bed.
Amy’s style of teaching comes from a place of nurturing. She wants you to feel free to explore the capabilities of your own body, respect your boundaries and learn how to heal and protect it. SuitabilityThis new year yoga retreat Cornwall is suitable for anyone who is a complete novice or is an expert. If you prefer not to get in the water that is ok, this is also suited to people who prefer dry land and wish to enjoy the scenery. It's also suitable for all ages, shapes, and sizes.

Your accommodation in Cornwall is simply stunning. It is a traditional Cornish stone farmhouse that has been recently renovated to 5 star luxury. Set in 15 acres of private grounds with a woodland with a stream running through it and rolling hills with breath taking views of the Mithian Valley.
We can sleep 10 guests over New Year in the farmhouse and the studio.
There’s no single occupancy rooms available over New Year
The Farmhouse: This is the main hub of the retreat, where you will gather for delicious meals, herbal teas and great chats.
The main farmhouse sleeps 10 in cosy 4 twin or double rooms with en-suite, two other doubles and an additional twin.
The Studio: This is a beautiful space best suited to a couple or friends who don’t mind sharing a double bed – who want the complete privacy. A self contained apartment with wood burner and kitchen, it’s a place to get cosy and totally switch off.
Lots of space: There are lots of areas and conservatories for you to relax in and feel like you are getting away from everyone to relax and have some personal space to read a book, enjoy the views and sit and while away the afternoon or evening.
The Yoga Studio: The yoga studio is adjacent to the farmhouse and is a beautiful space with high ceilings, wooden floor and lots of light. It can take up to 30 people for yoga so our group size means plenty of room.
The nearest town is St Agnes which is 5 minutes drive to the venue. On booking we release the actual address of the retreat, until then it is a real retreat surprise!
The nearest station is Truro. It’s about 7 miles from the retreat. The journey from London is about 4.5 hours depending on the route you take. We have recommended train times below. Please book these trains/or similar times if coming from a different direction, so that we can organise a taxi share for you and and save you some money. Super off peak starts at £110 return from London Paddington.

There is improvement work at Paddington Station between 23rd-31st Dec, and the above times are the ones shown on the National Rail website. The website states these times will be finalised early November for the last week of December.
These are times to and from London but wherever you are coming from time your arrival and departure for these and we can arrange taxi share for you.
Sleeper train: This is an option to travel over night – it’s a fun option that adds to your holiday experience to Cornwall and you get to sleep through the whole journey!
OUT: London Paddington leaves about 10.30pm and arrives into Truro about 6.30am.

Do you have any availability?
Most retreat will show the availability on their specific page. If you are unsure or need to book for a larger group, you can always contact us before placing your order.
Whats the booking process like?
To reserve your space we ask for a £150 (UK) or £250 (abroad) deposit immediately, paid online on the page of the retreat you want to join, or over the phone by credit or debit card. We will then send you out your final invoice, your booking form and ask your room preference. We then ask you to pay the full amount 6 (UK) or 8 (abroad) weeks before the retreat or holiday. You can pay online, by bank transfer or Paypal but we add the 3.6% charge incurred by Paypal. Please call 01273 782734 to pay over the phone by debit or credit card. Two weeks before the retreat we will send you your welcome pack via email, and help you iron out any concerns you may have.
How do I pay for my retreat or holiday?
Firstly, pay your deposit online on the page of the retreat or holiday that you would like to book. We will send you a confirmation and your final invoice to pay. You can pay online by card, by bank transfer or Paypal but we add the 3.6% charge incurred by Paypal.
I haven’t done much yoga before, can I come?
We have designed our weekends and weeks for people who love yoga, whether they are beginners or have been practising for years. All our teachers are very experienced and are more than capable of adapting the classes to all levels. Our ethos is about being open & friendly, and we set up our business to spread the incredible word of yoga to people who perhaps wouldn’t have gone on a yoga retreat before. So don’t be shy, there is no time like the present to start your journey with yoga.

Do I have to attend all the Yoga sessions?
Of course not, we understand we all want different things. Our two-hour sessions normally also include meditation or mindfulness, so it's worth giving it a go.
