We have been exploring Botswana finding the best Safari Yoga holiday package for you and we are so excited for what we have in store, providing the best balance of Safari and Yoga in this unforgettable holiday. We have crafted the holiday around the full moon on the 17th, where you will enjoy Moonlit Yoga in the Okavango Delta.
Over 10 nights, 11 days we will be exploring the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, the Okavango Delta and the Khwai Concession, with options to extend your stay and experience the natural wonder of the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. In each location you will be staying in your own private, purpose built Safari Camp with your own guide and driver. Rise with the sun before heading out early to spot fresh lion tracks walking straight past the camp or evidence of a passing herd of buffalo not far away, enjoy Yoga under the stars and experience this magical country via boat, game drives, plane and foot.
We have organised a full itinerary for you to experience everything a Botswana Safari Yoga holiday has to offer.

More about your Botswana Safari Yoga Holiday - 1st night - Maun
After your journey, we have planned for you to stay in Maun, only 2km away from the airport. Here you will stay in a beautiful lodge on the banks of the Thamalakane River and on the doorstep to the famous Okavango Delta. After welcome drinks, snacks and settling in, we will hold an optional evening Yoga class, welcome briefing and Dinner, ready for your 9 nights out on Safari.
Central Kalahari 13th-16th June - nights 2 - 4
Your Safari Yoga Holiday begins!
Staying in your own purpose built private camp, with a Luxury Safari Tent, activities here may include boating, mokoro excursions and guided walks, dependent on your preferences and which areas you select to visit after instructions from your private guide. Your guide assesses where would be the best area to head depending on what calls were heard during the night as well as the tracks found on the road and off you go to investigate further. Part of the unique appeal of Botswana is that the wildlife moves naturally and you are actually ‘searching’ for them, which can lead to the most amazing sightings and a great appreciation and respect for the bush.
Okavango Delta 16th- 19th June - nights 5 - 7
After three nights on land, your Safari Yoga holiday will continue onto the Okavango Delta.
If a template was created of the ideal wildlife habitat, it would be modelled on the Okavango Delta.
This sprawling expanse of grassy plains and wetlands in northern Botswana was the 1,000th site to be added to UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 2014. The area is protected by both the Moremi Game Reserve, on the eastern edge, and the many designated wildlife areas within Ngamiland.
The higher waters not only benefit the big cats, hippos, elephants, and buffaloes but also assist the five distinctly different Okavango peoples – Hambukushu, Dceriku, Wayeyi, Bugakhwe, and Gxanekwe – to navigate the vast oasis in their ‘mokoro’ (a traditional Delta dugout canoe).
Here you will have options to discover the area by boat and foot, and our camp is in a private luxury safari tent camp.
Khwai Concession 19th-22nd June - nights 8 - 10
To concluded your Safari Yoga Holiday, we will finish off in the beautiful Khwai Concession.
The private Khwai Concession lies on the northern border of the legendary Moremi Game Reserve however is significantly more secluded as a result of it being a private concession. There is excellent game viewing here all year round; the range of habitats within close proximity of one another is a defining characteristic of this concession.
High impala populations lead to reliable leopard sightings here, having been established as a game viewing concession for some time, the wildlife is habituated to the presence of vehicles which in turn leads to exceptional game viewing. Lion, cape buffalo and elephant are common sightings here as well in addition to the excellent wild dog sightings. For those with an interest in bird species the concession boasts an estimate 345 species, of particular note are African hawk eagle, hooded vulture, wattled crane, secretary bird and a long list of others.
Optional: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, 22nd-24th June
If you would like to extend your stay, you have the option to finish your holiday in the stunning Victoria Falls.
Instantly recognisable as one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Victoria Falls are quite simply breath-taking. Situated in the eponymous national park, the spectacular waterfalls represent a dramatic feature of the powerful Zambezi River, described by many as the greatest curtain of falling water in the world.
Columns of spray are visible from miles away and at its peak during the rainy season, more than 500 million cubic metres of water – per minute – cascade over the edge, along a width of nearly two kilometres, into a gorge one hundred metres below.
We can organise a full itinerary for you should you wish to extend your trip into Zimbabwe!
