Whether you are working on getting fit for the summer, need a detox or a gentle cleanse to boost your energy levels after a festive season of Christmas parties, come and join us for some R&R on our yoga detox retreat in East Sussex. Our philosophy is more about creating healthy alternatives to the usual food groups that cause food intolerances, without extreme fasting or starvation techniques.

Our chefs are experts in detoxing and with this knowledge they bring you an introduction to food types that you would incorporate into a detox programme that is more intensive.

About the teacher

Rebecca is a very experienced Hatha vinyasa yoga teacher with 8 years teaching experience. Her approach is relaxed, fun, fluid and engaging. She will explain the postures and then lead you into a gentle flow that will be challenging enough but not too much to put you off! Her use of language in the class is encouraging, playful, insightful and knowledgeable.

About the yoga

The classes on our detox retreat are designed to help restore balance in your body. Our morning classes are full of flows, twists and asana ideal for massaging your internal organs, stimulating your digestive system and of course, making you sweat a little! Our classes are suitable for all-  in the morning we create warmth in the body and oxygenate through connecting to the breath, and in the evening we create space and settle through restorative practices.

Our lovely retreat in Stonegate, East Sussex, has a choice of 4 cottages each sleeping 4 guests and all equipped with a cosy living room, spacious kitchen and beautiful views looking out to the outdoor heated swimming pool (May to September) and rolling hills of the High Weald, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Upstairs there is a twin or double room with a shower bathroom en-sute in one room and a bathroom with a bath for the other room. There is plenty of space if you feel like being on your own and the communal space is very sociable so there is something for everyone.

​By Car:

From London get onto the M25 and then exit onto the A21. It is then about 30 minutes drive from the M25. Once you have booked your place with us we will give you the exact address and post code.


There are trains that run every hour from London Charing Cross, Cannon Street & Waterloo East and they take 1 hr and 10 minutes.

Do you have any availability?

Most retreat will show the availability on their specific page. If you are unsure or need to book for a larger group, you can always contact us before placing your order.

Whats the booking process like?

To reserve your space we ask for a £150 (UK) or £250 (abroad) deposit immediately, paid online on the page of the retreat you want to join, or over the phone by credit or debit card. We will then send you out your final invoice, your booking form and ask your room preference. We then ask you to pay the full amount 6 (UK) or 8 (abroad) weeks before the retreat or holiday. You can pay online, by bank transfer or Paypal but we add the 3.6% charge incurred by Paypal. Please call 01273 782734 to pay over the phone by debit or credit card. Two weeks before the retreat we will send you your welcome pack via email, and help you iron out any concerns you may have.

How do I pay for my retreat or holiday?

Firstly, pay your deposit online on the page of the retreat or holiday that you would like to book. We will send you a confirmation and your final invoice to pay. You can pay online by card, by bank transfer or Paypal but we add the 3.6% charge incurred by Paypal.

I haven’t done much yoga before, can I come?

We have designed our weekends and weeks for people who love yoga, whether they are beginners or have been practising for years. All our teachers are very experienced and are more than capable of adapting the classes to all levels. Our ethos is about being open & friendly, and we set up our business to spread the incredible word of yoga to people who perhaps wouldn’t have gone on a yoga retreat before. So don’t be shy, there is no time like the present to start your journey with yoga.

Do I have to attend all the Yoga sessions?

Of course not, we understand we all want different things. Our two-hour sessions normally also include meditation or mindfulness, so it's worth giving it a go.
