After a summer of fun or hard work, August bank holiday is the perfect time to unwind, relax and cleanse body and mind. Stay in our gorgeous manor house and enjoy the peace that the meditation practices bring to you during the silent walk and in the yoga classes, and feel the body loosen and open up with the asana practices.  Situated alongside one of the Oxfordshire canal routes, Thrupp is a pretty and thriving village. If you are feeling adventurous take a canoe and paddle down the canal or hire a canal boat for the afternoon!

Explore the local surroundings and enjoy being in the countryside away from the frenetic pace of life in your day to day. Enjoy a massage from one of our expert in-house therapists or take time to rest and just be.

We base our prices on two or three people sharing a room. If you are coming on your own you are welcome to share a twin room with another guest of the same sex, or if you would prefer a room to yourself there is a £150 single supplement.

Rebecca Keenaghan

Rebecca is a very experienced Hatha vinyasa yoga teacher with 8 years teaching experience. Her approach is relaxed, fun, fluid and engaging. She will explain the postures and then lead you into a gentle flow that will be challenging enough but not too much to put you off! Her use of language in the class is encouraging, playful, insightful and knowledgeable.

About the yoga

Morning Yoga
In these gently energising and strengthening classes you can expect: gentle flow sequences, breath work, mantra and personal inspirations. The class will end with a deeply restful and soothing meditation and savasana.

Evening Yoga
Allow us to facilitate a deepening and lightening within you, melting away physical and mental tension. Enjoy a slower class in the evening, with aspects of yin, finishing off with an extended yoga nidra and savasana.

The rooms at our Manor house retreat are beautifully and newly decorated to a high standard. They are cosy and spacious and have views of the Oxfordshire waterways.

The house has a cosy and welcoming living room with a large spacious yoga room flooded with light and views of the walled garden.

These are our recommended train times so that we can organise taxi share. If a train is cheaper earlier then book it and you can wait for the taxi share. Booking after means getting your own/sharing another taxi. The retreat is only 4 miles from Oxford Parkway station, so about 10 minutes in a cab.

Do you have any availability?

Most retreat will show the availability on their specific page. If you are unsure or need to book for a larger group, you can always contact us before placing your order.

Whats the booking process like?

To reserve your space we ask for a £150 (UK) or £250 (abroad) deposit immediately, paid online on the page of the retreat you want to join, or over the phone by credit or debit card. We will then send you out your final invoice, your booking form and ask your room preference. We then ask you to pay the full amount 6 (UK) or 8 (abroad) weeks before the retreat or holiday. You can pay online, by bank transfer or Paypal but we add the 3.6% charge incurred by Paypal. Please call 01273 782734 to pay over the phone by debit or credit card. Two weeks before the retreat we will send you your welcome pack via email, and help you iron out any concerns you may have.

How do I pay for my retreat or holiday?

Firstly, pay your deposit online on the page of the retreat or holiday that you would like to book. We will send you a confirmation and your final invoice to pay. You can pay online by card, by bank transfer or Paypal but we add the 3.6% charge incurred by Paypal.

I haven’t done much yoga before, can I come?

We have designed our weekends and weeks for people who love yoga, whether they are beginners or have been practising for years. All our teachers are very experienced and are more than capable of adapting the classes to all levels. Our ethos is about being open & friendly, and we set up our business to spread the incredible word of yoga to people who perhaps wouldn’t have gone on a yoga retreat before. So don’t be shy, there is no time like the present to start your journey with yoga.

What is included in the price of a yoga holiday?

Do I have to attend all the Yoga sessions?

Of course not, we understand we all want different things. Our two-hour sessions normally also include meditation or mindfulness, so it's worth giving it a go.
