After a summer of fun or hard work, August bank holiday is the perfect time to unwind, relax and cleanse body and mind. Stay in our gorgeous courtyard barn rooms and enjoy the deep relaxation and new found energy a weekend yoga, meditation, and pranayama can bring you.  Feel your body loosen with each class and in the afternoons choose to relax by the swimming lake, read under a tree or go for a long walk and feel invigorated by being in such beautiful surroundings.

Explore the local surroundings and enjoy being in the countryside away from the frenetic pace of life in your day to day. Enjoy a massage from one of our expert in-house therapists or take time to rest and just be.

About the yoga

Morning Yoga
Bess’s yoga is a true form of moving meditation : heart opening and creative flow sequences in conjunction with pranayama (control of breath) are practiced with mantra, mudra, bandha sound healing. Bess’s classes are suitable for all as her approach to yoga is to help you become the full ‘you’. The class will end with a deeply restful and soothing meditation and sivasana that will allow you to take stock, leaving the class lighter and full of vitality (and ready for brunch)!

Evening Yoga
After a bright and restful day walking in the abundant countryside or treating yourself to a holistic treatment, our restorative yoga sessions are the perfect opportunity to deeply relax and unwind. Bess will be teaching a slower class in the evenings, predominantly yin based, allowing you to find stillness and space, finishing off with an extended yoga nidra and savasana.

These luxury en-suite rooms combine a rustic charm with quirky modern twists. They are nestled in a courtyard formation around the Barn which is the yoga, dining and chill-out space. The main barn has underfloor heating throughout, wood burners and big cosy sofas in a living space to relax into.

Each bedroom has original artworks by renowned artist Oliver Barnett, giving each room a unique interpretation of a natural scene creating a perfect harmonious colour balance with the handmade curtains and cushions. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms have their own underfloor heating. They also have super comfortable, extra thick sprung mattresses and high-quality cotton linen.

Twin or double rooms: The rooms are spacious enough for two people to share a room comfortably, with cosy single beds and crisp linen and beautiful en-suite bathrooms that have either a bath or a shower room.

Triple rooms: These rooms have the same thoughtful eco-design as the twin or double rooms but with an extra area which is a day bed for the third person in this lovely triple. There is a spacious en-suite bathroom also.

Single rooms: We have limited single rooms available and they have a single supplement of £150.

By Car
We are situated in Norfolk to the east of Kings Lynn. The nearest town is Swaffham, to the South. If you are driving, we send out travel information in the welcome pack.

By train
The train station is Downham Market, 30 minutes from the venue. We offer a complimentary service to arrange taxi share if you catch the recommended train times.

Do you have any availability?

Most retreat will show the availability on their specific page. If you are unsure or need to book for a larger group, you can always contact us before placing your order.

Whats the booking process like?

To reserve your space we ask for a £150 (UK) or £250 (abroad) deposit immediately, paid online on the page of the retreat you want to join, or over the phone by credit or debit card. We will then send you out your final invoice, your booking form and ask your room preference. We then ask you to pay the full amount 6 (UK) or 8 (abroad) weeks before the retreat or holiday. You can pay online, by bank transfer or Paypal but we add the 3.6% charge incurred by Paypal. Please call 01273 782734 to pay over the phone by debit or credit card. Two weeks before the retreat we will send you your welcome pack via email, and help you iron out any concerns you may have.

How do I pay for my retreat or holiday?

Firstly, pay your deposit online on the page of the retreat or holiday that you would like to book. We will send you a confirmation and your final invoice to pay. You can pay online by card, by bank transfer or Paypal but we add the 3.6% charge incurred by Paypal.

I haven’t done much yoga before, can I come?

We have designed our weekends and weeks for people who love yoga, whether they are beginners or have been practising for years. All our teachers are very experienced and are more than capable of adapting the classes to all levels. Our ethos is about being open & friendly, and we set up our business to spread the incredible word of yoga to people who perhaps wouldn’t have gone on a yoga retreat before. So don’t be shy, there is no time like the present to start your journey with yoga.

Do I have to attend all the Yoga sessions?

Of course not, we understand we all want different things. Our two-hour sessions normally also include meditation or mindfulness, so it's worth giving it a go.
