Stay in our gorgeous manor house and enjoy the peace that the meditation practices bring to you during the silent walk and in the yoga classes, and feel the body loosen and open up with the asana practices. Situated alongside one of the Oxfordshire canal routes, Thrupp is a pretty and thriving village. If you are feeling adventurous take a canoe and paddle down the canal or hire a canal boat for the afternoon!

About the yoga
In these gently energising and strengthening classes you can expect: gentle flow sequences, breath work, mantra and personal inspirations. The class will end with a deeply restful and soothing meditation and savasana.
Allow us to facilitate a deepening and lightening within you, melting away physical and mental tension. Enjoy a slower class in the evening, with aspects of yin, finishing off with an extended yoga nidra and savasana.
SuitabilityThis retreat is suitable for anyone who'd like to enjoy the bank holiday away with wellness, healthy food and Yoga. Beginners are welcome as well as all ages.

The yoga retreat starts from 4pm on the Friday, which gives you time to settle in before the first yoga class starting at 6pm. Dinner is at 8pm and then the retreat follows the schedule opposite. Don’t worry if you arrive late on the Friday. We finish at 3pm on the Sunday after the usual morning schedule until after breakfast.
- 7.30am: Tea and pre-yoga protein snacks
- 8am - 8.25am: Silent walk in tranquil surrounding countryside
- 8:40am-10:40am: Morning yoga and meditation class
- 10.40am: Healthy nutritious veggie brunch
- 11:30am- 2.30pm: Massage & free time; explore the waterway, go for a walk or try taking out a canoe!
- 2.30pm: Healthy light lunch
- 3pm-5:30pm: More treatments to pamper yourself or free time
- 5:30pm-7:30pm: Evening yoga and meditation class
- 7:45pm: Delicious vegetarian / vegan feast
- 10pm: Bedtime!

The rooms at our Manor house retreat are beautifully and newly decorated to a high standard. They are cosy and spacious and have views of the Oxfordshire waterways.
The house has a cosy and welcoming living room with a large spacious yoga room flooded with light and views of the walled garden.

These are our recommended train times so that we can organise taxi share. If a train is cheaper earlier then book it and you can wait for the taxi share. Booking after means getting your own/sharing another taxi. The retreat is only 4 miles from Oxford Parkway station, so about 10 minutes in a cab.
On booking, we will give you the directions to the venue.

Do you have any availability?
Most retreat will show the availability on their specific page. If you are unsure or need to book for a larger group, you can always contact us before placing your order.
Whats the booking process like?
To reserve your space we ask for a £150 (UK) or £250 (abroad) deposit immediately, paid online on the page of the retreat you want to join, or over the phone by credit or debit card. We will then send you out your final invoice, your booking form and ask your room preference. We then ask you to pay the full amount 6 (UK) or 8 (abroad) weeks before the retreat or holiday. You can pay online, by bank transfer or Paypal but we add the 3.6% charge incurred by Paypal. Please call 01273 782734 to pay over the phone by debit or credit card. Two weeks before the retreat we will send you your welcome pack via email, and help you iron out any concerns you may have.
How do I pay for my retreat or holiday?
Firstly, pay your deposit online on the page of the retreat or holiday that you would like to book. We will send you a confirmation and your final invoice to pay. You can pay online by card, by bank transfer or Paypal but we add the 3.6% charge incurred by Paypal.
I haven’t done much yoga before, can I come?
We have designed our weekends and weeks for people who love yoga, whether they are beginners or have been practising for years. All our teachers are very experienced and are more than capable of adapting the classes to all levels. Our ethos is about being open & friendly, and we set up our business to spread the incredible word of yoga to people who perhaps wouldn’t have gone on a yoga retreat before. So don’t be shy, there is no time like the present to start your journey with yoga.

Do I have to attend all the Yoga sessions?
Of course not, we understand we all want different things. Our two-hour sessions normally also include meditation or mindfulness, so it's worth giving it a go.
