Enjoy a two-night yoga retreat weekend at our gorgeous venue in Thrupp this springtime.  Situated alongside one of the Oxfordshire canal routes, in spring it is a beautifully serene spot to while away the afternoon under a willow tree, meander along the canal, taking in the blossoming of spring in the beautiful surrounding countryside. If you are feeling adventurous take a canoe and paddle down the canal or hire a canal boat for the afternoon!

Take this time to slow down from your day to day and relax in nature and have time out for you. With relaxing and energising yoga, meditation, delicious healthy food and time out in nature feel revived and refreshed and ready for summer.

About the teacher

Corrina is one of our senior teachers, she is an authentic and thoughtful teacher who strongly believes that yoga is for everyone. In Corrina’s classes you are empowered to listen to and trust your body, she encourages a mindful, inquisitive practice with benefits that extend outside of your yoga class. In Corrina’s classes you can expect an observant Hatha based practice full of somatic inquiry; using your breath to guide you and reawaken parts of yourself you may have previously forgotten about!

About the yoga

Joining one of Corrina’s yoga classes is a perfect opportunity for a little time to be kind to yourself. Corrina teaches a Hatha based class with a strong focus on the breath. Corrina weaves readings and mindfulness into the practice- aswell as connecting the mind to movement in a way that will allow you to discover yourself in a new way. Corrina’s morning classes are more energising, setting you up for the day, whereas the evening classes have a retorative focus, with time for meditation, yoga nidra and a long savsana.

The rooms at our Manor house retreat are beautifully and newly decorated to a high standard. They are cosy and spacious and have views of the Oxfordshire waterways.

The house has a cosy and welcoming living room with a large spacious yoga room flooded with light and views of the walled garden.

These are our recommended train times so that we can organise taxi share. If a train is cheaper earlier then book it and you can wait for the taxi share. Booking after means getting your own/sharing another taxi. The retreat is only 4 miles from Oxford Parkway station, so about 10 minutes in a cab.

Do you have any availability?

Most retreat will show the availability on their specific page. If you are unsure or need to book for a larger group, you can always contact us before placing your order.

Whats the booking process like?

To reserve your space we ask for a £150 (UK) or £250 (abroad) deposit immediately, paid online on the page of the retreat you want to join, or over the phone by credit or debit card. We will then send you out your final invoice, your booking form and ask your room preference. We then ask you to pay the full amount 6 (UK) or 8 (abroad) weeks before the retreat or holiday. You can pay online, by bank transfer or Paypal but we add the 3.6% charge incurred by Paypal. Please call 01273 782734 to pay over the phone by debit or credit card. Two weeks before the retreat we will send you your welcome pack via email, and help you iron out any concerns you may have.

How do I pay for my retreat or holiday?

Firstly, pay your deposit online on the page of the retreat or holiday that you would like to book. We will send you a confirmation and your final invoice to pay. You can pay online by card, by bank transfer or Paypal but we add the 3.6% charge incurred by Paypal.

I haven’t done much yoga before, can I come?

We have designed our weekends and weeks for people who love yoga, whether they are beginners or have been practising for years. All our teachers are very experienced and are more than capable of adapting the classes to all levels. Our ethos is about being open & friendly, and we set up our business to spread the incredible word of yoga to people who perhaps wouldn’t have gone on a yoga retreat before. So don’t be shy, there is no time like the present to start your journey with yoga.

Do I have to attend all the Yoga sessions?

Of course not, we understand we all want different things. Our two-hour sessions normally also include meditation or mindfulness, so it's worth giving it a go.
