A destination that is on everyone's yoga bucket list, join us this winter for our yoga holiday Costa Rica.
We are so excited to be heading back to Costa Rica for 2021!
Truly, this retreat is the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure perfectly placed into a 10-night winter sun yoga holiday.
Based on the Pacific coast in the town of Nosara, you will be staying in a gorgeous boutique yoga hotel with a stunning rooftop yoga shala! With views of the Pacific Ocean in front and the mountains behind it is a jaw-dropping space. Positioned high into the hills yet only a 5-minute tuk-tuk ride from the beach, restaurants, and shops.
Beautifully, yoga takes place in the rooftop yoga shala to the sounds of monkeys and tropical birds each morning and evening. After a delicious breakfast, take a dip in the pool or trip down the beach. Maybe, relax at the villa or try surfing on one of the best surf beaches in the country! You may wish to wander into town or feel exhilarated with one of the many activities on offer in the surrounding area. Maybe zip-lining through the rainforest canopy, a quad bike tour along the coast, visit a chocolate or coffee factory and so much more.

Amy’s style of teaching comes from a place of nurturing. She wants you to feel free to explore the capabilities of your own body, respect your boundaries and learn how to heal and protect it. By blending strong, grounded hatha practises with the freedom found in Scaravelli and vinyasa she believes that each practise can help create the perfect balance between flexibility and stability in both body and mind.

Costa Rica is a very special country that we are very excited to share with you. Although it is a small country it has coastline on the Pacific and Caribbean and it is famous for its surf beaches and most tourists spend their time on the coast. In Nosara, where we are located it is the wellness capital of the country so you are in for a treat with regards to places to eat for alternative plant-based meals, the larger and more famous American retreat centres and the surf, of course!
There are 5 volcanoes in Costa Rica that you can visit if you plan on staying a little longer than our 10 day holiday as well as rainforests which are rich in biodiversity.
Costa Rica is famous also for its coffee and chocolate so there is the option of visiting these plantations too.
Costa Rica is categorised as one of the happiest places in the world to live, it has no army, the country generates more than 99% of it’s electricity through renewable energy and Nicoya is a blue zone, meaning that its inhabitants live active lives well over 100 years old.
With so many fascinating things to see and do we know this will be a holiday of a lifetime.
We recommend booking for longer and planning in a tour so that you see as much of this special country as you can.
We have chosen the area of Nosara as it offers so many choices. Of course, you can tailor the yoga holiday to your preferences, whether it be a pure surf holiday, or you might opt for adventure activities. You might simply want to relax on the beach and read a great book. AS always, it’s up to you as it’s your yoga holiday. We are available to help you make it whatever you want it to be.
Surf on the best surf beach Playa Guiones.
Maybe, walk around Nosara town with its boutique shops and delicious cafes.
Perhaps take a quad bike tour into the mountains to visit an organic farm, coffee plantation and waterfall!
Fly amongst the canopy of the rainforest on a zip-line tour.
Take a boat trip to see dolphins and turtles or explore surrounding beaches and go snorkeling.
