It is winter in the northern hemisphere, a time of long nights and short days, cold and damp, yet our lives mean that we still have to be as busy as the summer months.  This can be very draining and tiring on our vital energies, especially as our immune systems can be weaker at this time of year too.

On our deep rest yin yoga retreat Bicester, you get the chance to really switch off from the day to day, to listen to your body’s needs and to slow down, right in the season when you need it most.

With yoga teacher Louise Windosr guiding you into yin postures with inspiring readings, a cosy atmosphere and sound healing, connect to your inner wisdom and revitalise. Find out more about her below.

Our yin yoga retreat Bicester is at one of our most loved venues where we have been running our retreats at this venue for 8 years and it is a home from home for us and our return guests.

Louise Windsor

Louise is a warm and enlightening teacher who uses yoga to help you feel good! Louise has spent time in  India, where she studied and practiced yoga extensively- training to teach vinyasa flow in the foothills of the Himalayas.

About the yoga

On our deep rest yin yoga retreat Bicester the classes are suitable for all abilities, from beginners to intermediate and advanced levels. Everyone is welcome.

Yin yoga is a floor based practice that helps release fascia -which is the connective tissue of the body; and also the ligaments and joints. Poses are held for 2 minutes or longer to hel the body unwind naturally with the help of the breath, time and gravity.

It is a deeply nourishing form of yoga and releases tension in a different way to more dynamic yoga practices
