After the year that we have all had, it’s time to re-treat yourself with a healthy, relaxing and stress-busting UK yoga retreat in the Oxfordshire countryside.
September at our Bicester venue is a special treat, as it’s usually a wedding venue so we have a 2-night retreat just for you. With stunning single rooms on offer, beautiful grounds and lots of space inside and outside. Take this time to re-connect to you, to others and share experiences in person instead of online in a safe and healthy way.
We love to share our Bicester retreat venue with you and it is well-loved by our guests for it’s grand, yet incredibly homely feel. Family-owned, it is no surprise it feels cosy yet sumptuous.
After 3 days of yoga (outside weather permitting), healthy vegan food, fresh air, wonderful sleep and socially distanced sharing of life with new faces of people who share the same common interests, feel revived, positive, connected, energised and ready for ‘the next phase’ whatever that may be.
We have been paying attention to the ‘post-COVID’ era and have been making a lot of changes to make sure we can offer a safe and relaxing break for you. We are setting up our COVID hub as we speak so that you feel protected in more ways than one.

This venue has shared bathrooms – we are limiting this to 2 – 3 people maximum and have a cleaning rota visible to you.
A twin/double room is for two people sharing either two single beds or a double bed. ONLY book the twin/double room if you are two people from the same household or are two friends/family who are happy to share. If this option isn’t available on the website please email us to ask for availability.
Alicia originally trained in Ashtanga yoga and has subsequently studied with traditional Hatha yoga teachers as well as theming creative sequencing for vinyasa flow classes. Alicia loves to include philosophy, poetry, pranayama, and meditation in her classes and to bring lightness and playfulness wherever possible.
On our Bicester wellness yoga retreat the classes are suitable for all abilities, from beginners to intermediate and advanced levels. Everyone is welcome. We have a range of inspiring and experienced teachers who are well practised at adapting the class for everyone’s level.
Whether it be Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Ashtanga, Sivananda, Yin or others, all classes cover pranayama, asanas and meditation to help increase oxygen flow, balance, clarity and to promote a peaceful mind. Morning sessions are a more dynamic practice and the evening sessions are gentle with lots of stretches, meditation and relaxation.

All of our retreat chefs are highly experienced and passionate about their craft. We have always been a vegan / vegetarian company and so expect delicious and creative brunch, lunch and 2 course evening meal. Each meal will have the right balance of protein, vegetables and carbohydrates to keep you energised all day. If not, please ask the chef for more we never like our guests to go hungry!

Claire's food is inspired by her teachers and from her travels around the world. She loves to incorporate as many seasonal vegetables and fruits as possible into her menu and use lots of spices. She also loves the creativity that is possible with plant-based cooking and enjoys introducing people to new ingredients so that people may discover new healthy foods for themselves and be inspired to try new recipes at home.
This September Wellness yoga retreat Bicester is suitable for anyone who'd like a relaxing staycation this summer in the UK to refresh and revive after the crazy time of lockdown that we have been in. Yoga to relax, healthy food to cleanse, time out to rebalance. Beginners are welcome as well as all ages.
Not only is it a great location it is also a beautiful part of the world with it’s rolling hills and scenic canals and woodlands. We have two venues – one for the autumn winter and one for spring summer.
Autumn/ Winter retreats Come and stay with us near Bicester. A family owned manor house, it is surrounded by countryside with no neighbours all around. Relax at the retreat or explore the local area on foot and enjoy the views
Spring/Summer retreats Thrupp is a pretty canalside village located to the north of Kidlington on the Oxford Canal Our retreat here is situated right on the canal, so you can enjoy the relaxed bustling vibes of canal life. Take a stroll along the canal, walk into the woods, visit the tea room for a naughty snack or relax in our private walled garden.
On our Bicester wellness yoga retreat, they all begin at 4pm with time to settle in before the first yoga class at 6pm. To make your arrival run as smoothly as possible and adhere to guidelines, we are going to aim to stagger arrival times between guests. Please keep us informed as to your arrival time. Dinner will be served at 8.00pm. The retreat schedule on Sunday is the same as Saturday with lunch and ends at 3pm.
