Our springtime Peak District retreat is the perfect short stay adventure. Great for nature-loving yogis that want a more modern, luxurious feel.

Join us for a three-night weekend or mid-week Peak District retreat at a stunning new venue in the Derbyshire Dales, Hope Valley area.  With views across the valleys of the Peak District, you will leave feeling like you have had a full escape away!

Our modern home for your springtime Peak District retreat has all the cosy comforts you could ever need. Plush sofas, warming fires and views from every window, of which there are a lot of! An abundance of seating areas both inside and outside means you will have plenty of space. Perfect to curl up with a book or chat with your new retreat friends.

Our days on this Peak District Retreat will be filled but relaxing. Hikes directly from the house, delicious plant-based meals, and yoga to nourish both body and soul.

We will be running covid secure retreats, with reduced numbers and lots of space, as we did summer 2020 – so you will feel like you can relax and enjoy your experience with us.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: With the latest developments in the pandemic and lateral flow tests being available to everyone, we have decided to ask that everyone take 2 lateral flow tests prior to coming on retreat in the UK, so that if it comes back positive you have time to get a PCR test to confirm a positive test result. We ask for a negative PCR test for foreign holidays. That way we can attempt to create covid free retreats.

We take Coronavirus seriously on our Peak District Retreat. We have reduced numbers to 12 to allow for social distancing and we have safety measures in place for your wellbeing. At our Peak District Retreat, a twin/double room is for two people sharing either two single beds or a double bed. ONLY book the twin/double room if you are two people from the same household or are two friends/family who are happy to share. If this option isn’t available on the website please email us to ask for availability.

Amy’s style of teaching comes from a place of nurturing. She wants you to feel free to explore the capabilities of your own body, respect your boundaries and learn how to heal and protect it. By blending strong, grounded hatha practises with the freedom found in Scaravelli and vinyasa she believes that each practise can help create the perfect balance between flexibility and stability in both body and mind.

About the yoga

On our springtime Peak District retreat, the classes are suitable for all abilities. From beginners to intermediate and advanced levels. Everyone is welcome. Our inspiring and experienced teachers are well-practised at adapting the class to everyone’s level.

There will be two staggered yoga classes for each yoga session scheduled to accommodate the group in order to follow the guidelines of social distancing.  The yoga teacher will create a more dynamic class in the morning to get you ready for the day’s hike and the evening class will be slightly longer to enable deep relaxation with yoga Nidra.

About the food

All of our retreat chefs are highly experienced and passionate about their craft. We have always been a vegan/vegetarian company! Expect delicious and creative brunch, lunch, and 2-course evening meal. Each meal will be balanced to keep you energised all day.

If you are out for an all-day hike we will provide you with a healthy packed lunch to keep you re-fueled.

Our food is now 100% organic and locally sourced and we and our chefs are working towards reducing plastic and waste as much as possible.

Originally having grown up in the North-East of Scotland, Mhairi now travels as a plant-based chef and on our retreats she allows the food to complement the atmosphere and the experience that is being offered to the guests.

Suitability

This Springtime Peak District Retreat is suitable for anyone who'd like a relaxing staycation in the UK to refresh and revive after the crazy time of lockdown that we have been in. Yoga to relax, healthy food to cleanse, time out to rebalance. Beginners are welcome as well as all ages. The hikes are suitable for all levels with the times varying for 2 to 3.5hrs each time.

Beautiful Peak District

There is a real raw and wild feel to the Peak District. Covering over 550 square miles, the National Park boasts an array of landscapes, habitats, and environments for you to explore! Vast, open landscapes are broken up by deep valleys and quaint villages with its many wide rivers and streams creating the perfect place for a wild swim to just to dip your toes! All of this, and only a three-hour train journey from Central London!

You can choose to be as active or relaxed as you like on this yoga retreat! Enjoy the free guided hikes and then enjoy the grounds of the retreat to relax in and take in the stunning view! If you fancy spending the day curled up in front of the fire with a book and tea, feel free!

Itinerary

On our springtime Peak District retreat, please arrive from 4 pm. This allows time to settle in before the first yoga class at 5 pm.  Dinner will be served at 8.00 pm.

The retreat will then end at 11am on the last day. and the mid-week retreat starts at 5pm on the Tuesday and finishes at 11am on the Friday.
