This is the perfect getaway if you never been on a retreat before, new to yoga or just don't feel like mixing with those bendy pretzels you see on Instagram.

You will allow yourself to relax and immerse yourself in yoga in a friendly and welcoming environment. 

Our lovely East Sussex venue is the perfect setting for a weekend of healthy food, feel-good Yoga and relaxation. You will leave the retreat feeling like a new you and you will be amazed how great your body will feel.

About the teacher

Rebecca is a very experienced Hatha vinyasa yoga teacher with 8 years teaching experience. Her approach is relaxed, fun, fluid and engaging. She will explain the postures and then lead you into a gentle flow that will be challenging enough but not too much to put you off! Her use of language in the class is encouraging, playful, insightful and knowledgeable.

About the yoga

This retreat is for those who are very busy in their lives and feel they need a weekend break to relax and slow down and to feel healthier than when they arrived. It’s for those who have done very little yoga, never done yoga before or feel they are rusty and could do with a reminder of how to do postures or for those who just prefer a more gentle practice.

 

Highlights

  • Classes are 1.5 hrs each twice a day
  • They will encompass asana (postures) some meditation and some breath work and lots of relaxation
  • The teacher will describe each posture to help you understand how to get into and out of the pose safely
  • Focus on alignment in each pose so that you can learn how each pose feels right to be able to continue and grow in your practice
  • Enjoy yoga nidra (yoga sleep) which is a deep relaxation meditation technique
  • Be given permission to slow down, relax, unwind and just be, as we find this hard to do for ourselves in our everyday lives.
  • Enjoy healthy walks, delicious food and great company

Accommodation

Our lovely retreat centre in Stonegate has a choice of 4 cottages each sleeping 4 guests and all equipped with a cosy living room, spacious kitchen and beautiful views looking out to the outdoor heated swimming pool (May to September) and rolling hills.

Enjoy your yoga practice in the separate yoga barn and dine together in one of the cottages. In your free time, retreat to your spacious cosy cottages, or relax on the sun terrace.

How to get there

By Car: From London get onto the M25 and then exit onto the A21. It is then about 30 minutes drive from the M25. Once you have booked your place with us we will give you the exact address and postcode.

Train: There are trains that run every hour from London Charing Cross, Cannon Street & Waterloo East and they take 1 hr and 10 minutes. Please catch the recommended train times below and we will organise a taxi share for you.
