Sunshine and Yoga – Ibiza
21st – 26th September | From £450pp
If you have never been to Ibiza before you are in for a treat. A stunningly beautiful island. Enjoy the white sandy beaches and turquoise waters, all within a stone’s throw from each other, so you can really explore and get to know the Islands treasures. Our yoga retreat in Ibiza is set in a traditional Spanish finca in the countryside on the North East hippy-side of the Island. Sleep in either the farmhouse with its rustic charm or in a caravan in the gardens. A tranquil and relaxed place to stay with no neighbours. Enjoy yoga in a beautiful outdoor yoga space with shade. It’s only a 15 minute drive to the nearest beach and within 25 minutes of the airport. This is an ideal location in order to be able to explore many of the Islands beaches. Surrounded by the Spanish Campo (countryside), we have chosen this yoga retreat in Ibiza because it offers a simple yet affordable way to experience the nature and beauty of the island without an extortionate price tag during the peak season.
September 21st – 26th
Chakra Balancing Equinox Retreat With Wendy Buttery
(£495pp shared room/ £550 single caravan / £450pp couple caravan)
Includes Yoga and Massage.
With this retreat we will work with the 7 main energy points along the spine and the nervous system. By working with Asana specifically related to balancing each vortex of energy, we can harmonise and synchronise those energies and create a free flow where sometimes we can feel stuck. The autumn equinox is the perfect time to seek out balance as this is the time of year when night and day are at equal lengths before we turn towards winter and darker nights. Time will be spent activating each chakra with breath and meditations. Included in this retreat is an hour long massage to further balance out the physical and subtle body.
Included in this retreat are:
5 x nights accommodation
5 x chakra balancing morning Vinyasa yoga
5 x chakra balancing pranayama and meditation sessions
5 x breakfast
5 x dinner
1 x massage
The retreats are held at a traditional private Spanish Finca on the North East of the island surrounded by fields and farmland. It is the perfect space to completely unwind in peace and tranquility.
How to get there
Fly from any airport to Ibiza. Flights are either very early or late in the evening from the UK, and there are lots of them, so shop around for the best price or time depending on what is most important to you.
Taxi in Ibiza
You need to take a taxi. On booking we will give you the address so that you know where to go. It takes about 25 minutes and is about 40 Euros.
Car hire in Ibiza
We highly recommend that you hire a car for this holiday because the island is small enough to drive around and explore it’s many beautiful beaches during the day. Otherwise taxi costs can add up. We can then arrange car hire share for both retreats to make it cheaper, obviously car hire will be more in the peak season.
Things to do
- There’s a number of great places to eat which we can recommend, one is within walking distance and some are a drive away.
- 52 beaches to explore. There’s the more relaxed ones in the North East or the more flamboyant beaches like Las Salinas in the South. There is a beach you could walk/cycle to but it is 12km away so it’s best to have a car.
- Hippy markets of Es Canar and San Carlos, Ibiza town and the night markets.

The Yoga is with resident owner and teacher Wendy Buttery. She has been teaching yoga for 20 years and is a very authentic teacher, teaching from her years of experience and from her heart. Practice will be a dynamic class in the morning of Ashtanga Vinyasa with Pranayama and meditation.
We will be celebrating the festive season for the 5th year by joining together with wonderful yogis and Ibiza friends to honour the winter solstice and the new year. These 2 retreats are our only winter offerings at the pad and are always wonderful. soulful, restful, illuminating and joyful occasions. Yoga, meditation and Pranayama practices combined with fabulous veggie feasts of nourishing food and evenings by the log fire. The weather in Ibiza over December and January can bring temperatures up to 20 degrees in the daytime and we will sit around the log fire in the evenings. So, in the winter months we really can bring in the light with sunshiny days, fuel your inner fire with Vinyasa yoga and tune into your internal space with long meditations. This year we are teaming up with 2 fantastic Ibiza residents. Jeanette Guckhert will give you a much needed Ayurvedic massage and Jody Swingler will be able to provide our evening Kirtan session on Christmas eve and New year. I very much enjoy these 2 wonderful retreats with all the different nationalities and personalities they welcomes. Definitely one for people looking for an alternative Christmas and New year.
