We have been running our weekend yoga breaks in this gorgeous venue since 2010 when it was simply a private family home. Nestled in the Oxfordshire countryside only 1 hour from London, with views of sweeping fields, you will feel like you’ve stepped out of your busy chaotic life. You will be welcomed into a space of comfort and relaxation and will immediately feel revived. Let the food nourish you and allow the yoga from our team of expert yoga teachers help you connect to your inner and most true being to show you where you are in this moment.
The silent walk in the morning giving you a chance to wake up slowly in nature is a beautiful way to energise for the day ahead. With 2 x 2 hours of yoga a day, allow yourself the space to process what comes up. An invigorating walk in the afternoon to blow away the cobwebs and therapeutic massage to soothe aching muscles, feel like you are getting an emotional and physical MOT.
Allow this wellbeing and yoga retreat to permeate your inner being, allow yourself to switch off, unwind, and let go. Take these 3 or 4 days as an opportunity to nourish yourself inside and out. It’s all it takes. You will have reset your inner battery and will return to work glowing and your colleagues asking you what you did over the weekend!
8am-8.25am: Silent walk in the tranquil surrounding countryside.
8:30am-10:30am: Morning yoga and meditation class.
10.30am: Healthy nutritious veggie brunch.
11:30am- 1pm: Treatments and relaxation time.
1pm-2.30pm: Saturday: Guided walk Sunday: Free time on a 2 night retreat; Workshop on a 3 night retreat
2.30pm: Healthy light lunch
3pm – 5.30pm: Treatments and relaxation time
5.45pm- 7.45pm: Evening yoga and meditation class
7.50pm: Delicious vegetarian feast
Start and finish times of the retreat The yoga retreat starts from 4pm on Friday, with the first yoga class starting at 6pm. For 2 night yoga retreats, we finish at 3pm on the Sunday. For 3-night yoga retreats, we finish on the Monday after the usual morning schedule until after breakfast, from 11am onwards.
Our accommodation is a beautiful family owned stately home that has been refurbished to a beautiful standard, staying in keeping with it’s original features. There are no en-suite bedrooms because of this. The rooms have a sumptuous, classic feel so you will feel spoilt. Yet it also feels homely so you can completely relax and switch off. They are all spacious, luxuriously decorated in amazing fabrics and have beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The house has a huge welcoming lounge with cosy sofas and an open fire. The dining room is light and airy with fabulous views of the grounds. There are fascinating paintings and fresh flowers everywhere.
How to get there
By car: We are near Bicester in Oxfordshire. It takes about 1 hour drive from London. Once you have booked your place with us we will give you the exact address and postcode.
Train: From London Marylebone station to Bicester North it takes 1hr. Book early for cheaper tickets. It is a comfortable, fast service with no changes. For those coming from other directions please time your train to arrive and depart around the same time as the recommended trains from London so that we can organise taxi share. The retreat is only 15 minutes away and costs about £12-£20 depending on the day (bank holidays are more expensive). We try and group you together to make the taxi a lower cost for you.

We believe that our retreats should be nurturing in every way. So our Vitality Chefs will create tasty, healthy, vegetarian meals for you from local, seasonal produce. All of our food is gently detoxing and we cater to various dietary preferences. Our guests are always impressed by our creative, flavoursome dishes — that’s because the food is just as important to us as the yoga.
