Bess is a passionate and knowledgeable yogi whose playful, focused and flowing Hatha classes seek to honour the present moment by creating a grounded connection to the spiritual heart.
Bess has been practicing yoga with intent since her first teacher training in 2010. Travelling solo to India on a journey of discovery she finally found a path that resonated – one that offers both peace and purpose while embracing creativity, strength and unification. She continues her exploration through a dedicated self practice, regular varied training and offers classes daily in London as-well as teaching internationally.
Bess’ classes offer a balance of movement and mediation and are laced with pranayama ( breath-work), mudra ( gesture), bandha ( energetic locks) and mantra. Philosophy and anatomy are linked in a practical and inspiring way that deepens the experience and brings a fuller understanding of yoga in relation to each session and beyond. Encouraging an open and inquisitive atmosphere, Bess invites you to travel at your own pace, get fully involved in the process of feeling and to trust in the experience of letting go.
